How axis reinvents the computer mouse with Stereolithography?

Here’s one of our latest creations: a functional computer mouse with minimal finishing touches. The cover is made of Stereolithography with Xtreme resin (light grey), sandblasted only, and with a “soft touch” finish on the sides and knob for ergonomics, while the base is in Multi Jet Fusion HP colored black. We have introduced an electronic circuit with all the components required for its operation. Small detail: for greater comfort of use, we’ve added small elastomer pads using the vacuum casting process.

How does the mouse work in Stereolithography?

Still not convinced that our mouse is really functional? As proof, here are all the elements that make it up: the hood in Stereolithography Xtreme grey with soft-touch finish on sides, base and battery door in Multi Jet Fusion HP coloured black, the thumbwheel in Stereolithography with soft-touch finish, elastomer pads, electronic circuit, battery and USB key for connection. A little extra: the USB key can be stored close to the battery for a compact unit. What’s up? Convinced?!
