Stereolithography: more transparency!
Given the success of Clearvue resin thanks to its transparency in stereolithography
stereolithography
we decided to invest in a resin similar to Clearvue but with different characteristics, i.e. higher performance. So we chose Accura Phoenix stereolithography resin.
Accura Phoenix is a transparent, bluish PolyCarbonate (PC) stereolithography resin. It’s an ideal resin for parts where visibility of a mechanism is required. Imagine a mechanism with cogs or a motor with propellers, or a circuit that lets a colored fluid pass through, for example, with this material on top to let the contents of your project show through. This could be an aesthetic plus for your object. For this kind of idea, this stereolithography material is ideal. With Phoenix, you can play around with color, depth or extra thickness, and even finish, with all the possibilities we have to offer. Don’t hesitate to consult us to work out your project. We’ll advise you and direct you to the best technology to meet your needs, and the best material with the best finish. We look forward to receiving your quotation request, especially for stereolithography.
Stereolithography: technical transparency
This stereolithography resin withstands 137°C heat well, and is indeed technically better than Clearvue resin. Here’s a table with some technical data.
To give you an idea of its capabilities, Prototherm is the stereolithography material in our possession that is mechanically closest to this one.
Our machine capacity for this resin is 500 mm x 500 mm x 589 mm, as we have installed this material on an SLA 5,000.
If you have any technical, mechanical or other questions about this material, don’t hesitate to get back to us by sending us an e-mail via our contact page on our website.
